In Chinese martial art are two basic types of training which is often referred Lianquan (train the fist) and Weidao (find the way). To put it simply, Lianquan is based mainly on the practice of forms and techniques with greater emphasis on strength and speed of execution. Weidao refining is based on principles of structure and body mechanics téccnicas using individuals as a means to express these principles. You could also say in general that the so-called external styles make use of the method mostly while the inner Lianquan mainly used Weidao. Both methods should be combined harmoniously in any style of Chinese kungfu, although it is a rather complicated task to perform. To try to achieve the goal of combining these two modes of practice, Wudang Center implemented a system with eight programs training, four for each mode, more ninth which combines all previous means of combat training. These nine programs in three levels of students within the school: Beginner, intermediate and advanced. Training programs are named after the main objective pursued in each, these are:




1) Weidao 1: Ziaji, Zhengjin, structure, full strength (mechanics)


2) Lianquan 1: Iaotui gongfu, Jiben quanfa, kungfu leg, waist, fundamental boxing technique


3) Weidao 2: Fajin, download

4) Lianquan 2: Iaotui gongfu (2), Tongbeijin, waist leg ungfu second level, removing the force through the back


5) Weidao 3: Kuai, speed

6) Lianquan 3: Lianhua, chaining

7) Weidao 4: Dongjin, understand the force (the opponent)

8) Lianquan 4: Duilian, chaining
